Extcalendar is a wonderful calendar but the project has been dead for about 2 years. I\\\'d like to update it, improve it\\\'s interoperability with Joomla! as well as provide hooks for other applications to create/modify events.

I plan to release this as under a GPL license as the underlying source code is GPLed.

you need to do your homework better....a very large thread exists on this component on the Joomla-board and a new version is almost released
