Modify / re-code gift registry for virtuemart

The project involves modifying the joomlart.com template JA_Mesolite
http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_mesolite/

to support the gift registry component and module (http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,4061/Itemid,35/).

Gift Registry needs to support:
Joomla v1.5 and Viruemart v1.1.2


Please install the JA_Mesolite template (it contains virtuemart and sample data). I could not upload the zip file due to size limitations. If you have a joomlart.com acct., please login and get it.

Install the sample data. Then create the Gift Registry component and module.

Requirements for the code base

Modify as few core files as possible.
Any modification to the core files should be commented /** START GIFT REGISTRY MOD **/

The look and feel of the site should stay consistent with the joomlart template.
The add to registry button should look like add to cart button.
The code should be similar to the newer Joomla v 1.5 code base.

I will install the ja_mesolite_for_joomla_1.5.v1.2.zip from joomlart and then install the module and components. If they run, I will pay the remaining money in full.
