My company hosts yearly events and has done so for the last decade. Our current website is clunky and out dated. We’d like the ability to manage our pages easily and in a way that will be easy to navigate as well as feature audio, visuals, and other multimedia from our events.
We’d like the project to be carried out within the next 3 months and once it is setup and the transition is complete, our webmaster is familiar enough with Joomla that he will easily take over and manage the system.
The job would involve either customizing an existing template or creating a custom one, we’re open to either. Also the installation of certain modules relevant to an event dedicated site. The site would of course incorporate our company colors, logo, etc. Design aspects such as where menus should be are open to discussion but we do have a certain style in mind already.
More specific details I will share upon contact, I don’t wish to reveal too much in a public forum.

Upon further reflection I should add a detail. It will actually be 2 Joomla installs on our server.. one for the event(S) and the other for the organization itself as the two have separate followings and functions. The style of both will be almost the identical only that one will be more designed as a event website and the other will be a basic organization/corporation type site for potential customers/clients/partners.
Also for the event website, if it were at all possible, we’d like a module within the joomla system where people could submit info as speakers at our events, info like name, photo, title, job, location, and short description. Site visitors should also be able to login and create their own profile on our site as users and to opt in to be on our mailing list.
