We are in the training&education business. We conduct both online and offsite classes.
I am looking for a PHP/mysql web designer/programmer who is familiar with Amember Pro from www.amember.com to create membership site
This project consists of creating a joomla based backend content management system that controls the layout and look and feel of the contents I will be making available through the front end. The backend must also provide a way to upload videos and documents quickly and a method to organize them and present them tastefully.
Amember will integrate with the entire system and control access to the files and payment methods.
Programmer should be very familiar with internet marketing, opt in pages, Amember script, PHP, mySQL, one shopping cart (or other payment processing) etc.
It should be scalable
We conduct periodic workshops in various cities. So students should be able to register and pay on line for these classes. Students should be able to see the class details and look at the calendar and see when classes are being held etc... Also a calendar tab or a link where visitors can see all our upcoming workshops (probably part of the registration module)
As administrator I should be able to post the class details
Collect money online using various methods, visa/master/discover/amex, paypal, and other standard payment options (perhaps one shopping cart solution)
The system should be able to send an automatic email stating that they have registered for the class. Should be able to send periodic reminders about the class for those who have registered.
Also I should be to upload the content of my course materials (some text, some word/pdf documents/some video) - please suggest if video files are big do you recommend using Amazon S3 service?
I want this to be a membership site with few different levels of access. Some content should be free access to all members. Some content will be paid. I may have news letter service and online education service. Two (or even more) services will he separate and based on the level of member ship, they should be able to see some or all of the content. Automatic newsletter sending to the subscriber on a periodic basis.
I also currently have AWEBER as my auto responder for optin
Place for testimonials – I have some video/text testimonials which I want to display and also add/change/delete as and when it is required
Provide access to these content based on the member ship level
Shopping cart (1 shopping cart – perhaps…)
Forum tab for students to have discussions on trading etc. Perhaps a forum.

Also I want to create a wordpress which should seamlessly integrate to the main site.
May be down the line I may be selling some home study courses/like DVD/CD of my course materials – in the future
