Debug for PDF through security php file

Currently, I use file manager extension/plugin to present PDF’s in a new web browser of the same web browser but with lightbox effect. These PDF’s are run through a php file for security-so that user is logged in and url is protected.

all works fine, except for on FF and Safari on a MAC, where there is a compatibility issue. The PDF’s simply start to present in a new broswer or through lightbox, but, will download to user’s computer.

Need to have this debugged, (may possibly be a MIME type error, or other).


having a MAC will help debug, but not necessary.
