And the relaunch day has been decided. JoomLancers will be upgraded to v3 on the coming March 5th 09. The upgrade time will take about 2 hours. During the relaunch, the site will be unavailable. Thank you very much for your cooperation & we are sorry for any inconvenience. Comments (36)

Hi,
In old version, when we point the mouse over number of bids in the project row in home page, we will see a summary of bids. But now it is disappeared, just see: Average Bid: N/A, Highest Bid: N/A, Lowest Bid: N/A
Could JL explain more about this situation?

And one more thing, after i place a bid. It doesn't appear, only showing when i refresh the page. One a big problem, please fix it ASAP.
And template problems in IE8 which i sent you some days ago. I see you fixed for it, that report in top first 20 reports. So will i have a Gold Member receipt from you?

Hi Peakso,
The new version will not charge $1 per bid but we will use the credits system. Also, currently we have updated 30 credits for all users when moving over to the V3. I will post more details about the new credit system tomorrow.
And one more thing, after i place a bid. It doesn\'t appear, only showing when i refresh the page. One a big problem, please fix it ASAP
It is not really a big problem. however, we will consider to improve the bidding process as your suggestion

I have sent 2 email messages thru "Contact Us" and no response. I received a paypal email yesterday morning saying that the money had been deposited into Joomlancers account. My Joomlancers account does not show any deposits. Until today, it at least showed the payment as pending. What is going on? Where has my money gone? I want to get started with my project. I need this resolved ASAP!

I see that new PMB will appear in "View question" tab. Right?
JL should add report button in this tab to report users who doesn't follow rules (such as posting contact but not sponsor member).
Ehm! BTW, just see JL reward for bugs reporters. How about new feature suggestions?
I think they are very worth for JL too.

Hi,
I must first appreciate all the efforts you guys have made to bring up this version and I definitely admire it. Specially the credit system.
I noticed that last day we were ranked at #3 but in new version, we are vanished, not even in top 10, not sure why this as we have far more reviews in terms of points in last 6 months also, but we are not reflected.
Secondly, there must be "Top Ten Lifetime" in the right side module, that will really help the users who are with you guys from the beginning, this annoys all the old users like me to look like an alien on the site they are attached with from these years.
Hoping to get these errors fixes sooner than later.

I see that the home page announces the project has N bids, but when I see the details the actually bids are smaller N (e.g. http://www.joomlancers.com/pro...1186523314).
Is this the bug? or JL has new rule?

Concerning the new ranking system. Currently it is based on the formula:
Ranking points = number of projects x positive feedback (during 1/3/6 month) the higher points you get, the higher you are ranked
However, as this is favorable to provider who do many small projects rather than big project.
In the next update on the following weeks, we will change the ranking formula to
Rank points = number of projects x positive feedback x escrowed amount (during 1/3/6 month)
About the life time ranking. It's best we have a independent page of such reference. And the top list on the homepage will be limited up to 6 months. And if any provider are the best, they should be the best at all the time.

I place bid on this project http://www.joomlancers.com/pro...186523632. My credit down from 29 to 28, but I can't see my bid on that project. Where is my bid ? On Homepages this project notice BIDS: 5 but when I click to this project it show 3. I don't know why, any one have this problem ?

We have send 2 messages to "contact us"
In past we got a confirmation with ticket no. Now we do not get anything anymore. Have you switched off your system?
Next: we do not get any emails of new project despite being subscribed.....New projects are not being emailed to us
Next: If we place a bid the screen does not changes...Only if the page reloads the bid is show....That is confusing!
I am surprised that you have not left a site open for bug reports... The site is full and sometimes flabbergasted with bugs and we have no option to post them!
Do something about this please since WE freelancers pay your salary ?

Same problem, but 11 CREDITS GONE AWAY FOR NOTHING!, 12 Credits for only one bid (without send contact info). Is that a scam artiest?
When placed a bid, had not a successful notice, and place bid form come again, and my bid do not place on bids area after placed bid. A bad system

I think we rollback to v2 so all business come well, and we will test v3 in dev folder.
If joomlancers.com v3 still have a lot of problem like this, buyers and freelancers very confused and will move to other site. I love joomlancers.com so I don't want all buyer and freelancer gone. My honest suggest.

Buyer is who payment for freelancers, so when I view profiles of a buyer I see they earning $0 for 6 months, $0 for Lifetime. Plz add total payment to profile of buyer, it will let freelancers know who is big buyer.

I see the this version still has many bugs, this may cause freelancers (and buyers also) feel unsafety to join the bid.

I use FF3.
My buyer give me a invite to their project, when I click to link to their project in my email it give me a new tab and in that windows I 'm not login , in other tab I still login on your site. Why ? Their project create with non-publish type.

When I see my profile , at "My ratings" I have list of my feedback, at bottom of this I have a page nav, right ? but when I click next page then click first page I have a noticed "You could only give or receive feedback if you have at least one awarded project." HIX HIX.

In placing a bid or PM do not use single quote ( ' ) or double quotes ( " )...
I noticed that when I used those characters in bidding the bid won't appear...
Please try this..
Anyways, there are still lots of bugs in v3...

I don't think this formula is good. Please see if one provider get 100 projects each 6 months with $3000 and 100% positive ($30 per each project so this is a small provider, and he has 30 million points) with one provider get 30 projects with $9000 and 100% positive ($300 avg for each project, so this is a big provider, but he only got 27 million points).
Please check and replace your formula by other one beter
