I am looking for a Group component for Joomla.
The component should be somehow similar to Facebook.com group system with the same ease of use.
Currently, there is similar component for Joomla called GroupJive (www.groupjive.org). It’s a very nice component, but it’s still in alpha version and there’s a long way still for the developers to finish this project.
What I need is to either continue with what GroupJive has reached so far, or start a new project. ((my budget is really limited and this is why I prefer adding to GroupJive))
In brief: every group should have: description, main photo, discussion board, photo album, a wall (guestbook) facebook style, admins and moderators, invite website users and external friends from outside the website as well, and several group types (open, closed, invite only, etc)
out of those, groupjive lacks the wall(guestbook) and the discussion board which i think should be enhanced, moderator, invite external friends, photo album.
